Heavy Vehicle Finance recently provided Tractor Finance for one of our existing transport clients looking to diversify their business by entering the grain cropping industry in rural Victoria. The Tractor we financed was a 2012 Caterpillar Challenger purchased through a Tractor Dealer in NSW. As can be seen from the photos, this Tractor was in exceptional condition and famously carries the well-known brand CAT Power on the side of the Cabin.
By financing this Caterpillar Tractor, our client will be able to pull Grain Headers during the grain season and use their Prime Mover and two Grain Tipping Trailers to cart their grain to market – incurring lower transport costs. In addition to harvesting and transporting their own crop, they will be able to harvest and transport grain for other farmers in the surrounding areas. This is great example of diversification in the transport industry by providing a dual income for this very astute Transport Operator, with a very bright future ahead.
Based on the fact that this client was entering the Farming Industry, we had to approach this deal on a new start basis. As this was the case, one of our Finance Consultants had to prepare a detailed cash flow projection in order to present a projected income for this client based on both the Transport side of the business and the Farming side of the business. In addition to this cash flow projection, we had to present detailed grain cropping performance in the area where our client would be operating along with analysing both historical and predicted cropping performance in the same geographical location.
Heavy Vehicle Finance has a team of very experienced Finance Professionals that are highly skilled in the area of Heavy Equipment Finance. This being the case, we were able to provide this young and ambitious client a positive outcome with respect to the Tractor Finance deal.
We encourage any enquiries relating to Heavy Equipment Finance and have many tools on our website to assist in gathering information to Tractor Finance or the finance of other like goods.
